Marty Miller is a volunteer chaplain for
Transport for Christ at the
truckstops in Elkton, Maryland. During the week Marty is the Director
of The Bender
School of Music. Marty has engineered and installed over 50 sound systems
for area churches. Marty is also a worship leader at his home church,
Faith
Southern Baptist Church., located at 2494 Singerly Road, Elkton, Maryland.
Marty Miller has appeared on various TV shows over the years as a host as well
as a musician. His show "Monday Night Music" which aired in the mid 1980s was
the most-watched show in its time slot. This opened many opportunities for
Marty. Over the past 20 years Marty Miller has played more than 2000
engagements, including Broadway show cast parties, celebrity sports banquets,
political rallies, weddings and corporate events.
In 1999, Marty Miller recorded "Jump for Joy", his first effort as a
Contemporary Christian Songwriter. Since then he has performed at numerous
churches, giving testimony (He was homeless in the 1960s before accepting Jesus
as his Savior), and playing his songs. A new CD is planned for 2007.
The following Gospel selections were recorded at Moore's
Chapel UMC.
